Philips lined up new products to release in India

Philips organized a press meet in Mumbai on 7th April and unveiled several new models of docking stations, Blue-ray players and home media players that it intends to release in India. A company, whose marketing strategy has been subtle so far, has made this long-awaited move considering its deep roots in the Indian market after all these years.

The integration of DoubleBass, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD technologies with aesthetic designs and touch controls, was the key asset of Blue-ray players. The home media players equally impressive with state-of-art speaker systems such as 3-directional angled speakers and others features unique to each model.

The Fidelio docking stations available in 3 models, namely, DS 1100, DS 7550 and DS 9000, were the cynosure of the event. The DS 1100 has a unique omnidirectional speaker and DS 7550 has an elegant aluminum body and a rechargeable Li-ion battery. The company intends to launch another model in this category, HTS 5520, and a DVD player, DVP 3868G, at the end of this month.
