Low-cost carrier Spicejet has reported a 13.31 per cent dip in its net profit for the third quarter ended December 31, 2010, at Rs 94.44 crore. Net profit stood at Rs 108.94 crore in the October-December quarter last fiscal, Spicejet said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Total income, however, grew to Rs 830.13 crore during the December quarter compared with Rs 649.05 crore in the year-ago period, the filing added.
Reacting to the decline in third quarter numbers, Spicejet counter was quoting 3.03 per cent down at Rs 71.90 on the BSE.
