Former President of India, APJ Abdul Kalam is likely to visit the athletics village of the 34th National Games here. ''Mr Kalam who is scheduled to participate in the convocation function of BIT Mesra here on February 24 would also visit the Khelgaon,'' official sources said today.
''He will also distribute medals among the winners,'' the sources added.
State police headquarter sources said security in and around the state capital would be strengthened in view of former President's visit.
Earlier, Team India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Congress MP Naveen Jindal visited the Games venue.
