If they're into films take them to the cinema and project the question on the big screen or if you want something more private just pick your time and cook up a nice meal at home.

Holiday Proposals
Why not take your loved one away for a romantic weekend away. Paris, Venice and Prague are popular romantic European locations. Take the trip up the Eiffel Tower and get down on one knee or why not take a romantic gondola ride and use the stunning backdrop and 'alone time' to pop the question.

Food Lovers
Book a table at your favourite restaurant or choose a place that has been given great reviews for being intimate and offering great service. You could ask the chef to hide the ring in dessert or get the write your proposal around the plate.

Private Proposals
If you're not drawn to the idea of turning your proposal into a big showy public display of affection why not just do something more private that you feel more comfortable with. Prepare a dinner your partner loves, get a great bottle of wine, light some candles and put some great music on low to create the perfect ambience to help you on your way.

Quirky Ideas
Why not hide the ring in a fortune cookie or write a song for the one you want to marry and try and get them to play it on the local radio. You could even persuade your local cinema to allow you to put a message up in the adverts before the film starts. or ask the captain of your plane today ask over the tannoy system

Fun Proposals
Why not organize a treasure hunt. Write clues that lead from place to place throughout your house, apartment or even at your local park. If you'd prefer something more simple then leave a trail of rose petals to where you'll be waiting with the ring to pop the question.
