"We will fight together. Baba Ramdev is fighting for long to remove corruption. We will come together to remove corruption. I will be coming to Delhi on June 5 and will make strategy to fight corruption," Ramdev told from Ralegaon Siddhi.
"Baba Ramdev has also raised the question of bringing back black money. We too have the same issue. There should not be two opinions on bringing black money," said Hazare, who had also launched a fast-unto-death at the Jantar Mantar in New Delhi in April demanding a stronger anti-corruption law.
While ruling out any difference with Ramdev on the issue of the anti-corruption Lokpal Bill, Hazare said that he would discuss with him who all should be under the ambit of the proposed legislation.
"we will discuss whether the Prime Minister should be in the ambit of Lokpal and how will the Prime Minister be brought under the Lokpal, about judicial corruption, whether to bring the Chief Justice of India (under the bill). Lokpal will not punish the judiciary. Lokpal will enquire if there is any complaint against judiciary and make recommendations. It's very important to bring judiciary under the Lokpal. We will talk to Baba Ramdev to apprise him of the importance of bringing the judiciary into the ambit of Lokpal," he replied when asked about Ramdev's stand that the post of the Prime Minister and Chief Justice of India should not be under the Lokpal's ambit.
Challenging the Government to act against corruption, he asked if the political leaders know how to remove corruption then why they were not doing it. He also added that there are many capable people who can lead the movement against corruption and that he was just an ordinary soldier.
Hazare also alleged that the Government has been trying to break the anti-corruption movement.
"The Government will try to divide us. They have started the process. The Government played with us, they tried to divide our joint committee and soon people will come to know of the games of the Government. But our movement will go on. We want all crusaders against corruption to join hands together and fight. We have to join hands together to fight corruption in the country," he said.
He said that those who are accusing Ramdev of having black money should provide evidence against the yoga guru.
"If people sys Baba Ramdev has got illegal property, we will not accept it. We want proof of it," he said.
Hazare claimed that neither his fight, nor Ramdev's crusade had any political motive or affiliation.
"Whatever we found to be true, we have put forward to the society. I didn't bother about political affiliation whether it is the Congress, BJP or any other party. I will talk on June 5 bout political parties deciding to support Baba Ramdev. We have been talking about removing corruption and fighting against it. We need to have confidence to fight corruption and remove it," he added.
