Glenn McGrath has married his girlfriend Sara Leonardi , two years after his wife's death due to breast cancer. The wedding is believed to have taken place at Australian bowling legend's Sydney home on Thursday afternoon.
The wedding was a very personal affair with only a handful of family members being present.
McGrath's children, 10 year-old James and 8year-old Holly, were reportedly carrying a posy of pink Jane McGrath roses named after their mother.
McGrath's new wife, 28 year-old Sara is an interior designer by profession.
The couple met at a party in Cape Town in 2009 while the former Australian Test cricketer was playing for the Indian Premier League team Delhi Daredevils.
Retired pacer's agent Warren Craig told Network Ten," It was a simple ceremony and it all went fantastically well."
McGrath had credited Leonardi for turning his life around after his wife's death in 2009.
