Besides offering to pay Rs10 lakh as permanent alimony, the choreographer-actor-director has agreed to transfer two cars and properties in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh in the name of Latha.
She has agreed to the proposal and would not make any future claim or demand towards maintenance, alimony, either permanent or temporary. A joint affidavit, signed by the couple, was submitted in the Court, when they appeared together and remained closeted with presiding officer Pandurangan for a while.
It all started when Latha filed a petition in the family court seeking restitution of conjugal rights with Prabhu Deva, alleging that he had a relationship with Nayanthara and that he was neglecting the family without even providing the minimum financial assistance.
