Mark Ronson reportedly had a near death experience after eating raw liver, ahead of recording the band's new track ''Raw Meat''. The 'Black Lips' producer got struck down with a disease and had to be rushed to the hospital where doctors said that he suffered from endorhinitis and had 'nearly died'.
Mark said the experience left him "moaning and groaning," but despite the fact his health was at risk he doesn''t hold it against the group.
"I thought maybe I was hungover or something. Then I started shivering uncontrollably. The next thing, the band are putting all these blankets over me. I wake up an hour later , just f***ing moaning and groaning," Contactmusic quoted him as telling NME magazine.
"When I was there I was diagnosed with something with a lot of syllables in it - endorhinitis, or something like that. I almost died. But I don''t think it was intentional on their part," he added.
