A first look at the ‘Always Kabhi Kabhi’



Shah Rukh Khan's production house Red Chillies Entertainment gave a superhit in 2010 with 'My Name is Khan' which was co-produced with Dharma productions. Now, thw production house is all set for their next release in June which happens to be a romantic-comedy titled 'Always Kabhi Kabhi'. Directed by debutant Roshan Abbas, the film has the 'Love Aaj Kal' find Giselle Monteiro play one of the main leads while Karim Morani's beautiful daughter Zoa Morani is making her Bollywood debut with this film.

The film also marks the debut of Satyajeet Dubey, (who played young Nana Saheb in the popular serial Jhansi Ki Rani) and has Ali Fazal (popularly known as Jay Lobo from 3 Idiots) in leading roles. Other actors include Satish Shah, Lilette Dubey, Navneet Nishan, Vijay Raaz, Manoj Joshi, Mukesh Tiwari and Aakash Khurana. The music for the film has been composed by Pritam.

The flick, which is said to draw its inspiration from popular 1999 play Graffiti is about a set of four friends in their last year of their school in Mumbai. The first promo of is expected to be showcased at the screening of the movie Game, which releases this Friday, 1st April 2011.

Talking about his experience of making the film, Abbas says, "It took time to develop it into a full-fledged screenplay. Shah Rukh pointed out two things. One, cinema and play are two different mediums and the written material had to be more cinematic. Two, it had to be contemporary. Also, I'd like to clarify, though the film revolves around teens, it's not inspired by 'Archie'. It actually borrows from real life experiences."

"I have truly enjoyed the experience of making Always Kabhi Kabhi. And I wish to continue chasing my dream," he added.
