India's Rohan Bopanna and Pakistan's Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi shocked second seeded Max Mirnyi of Belarus and Daniel Nestor of Canada 6-1, 7-5 to move into the semifinals of the Monte Carlo Rolex Masters. It was Bopanna and Qureshi's second ATP World Tour Masters 1000 semifinal. The India-Pakistan pair broke the Belarusian-Canadian combinatiion five times, while dropping their serve twice.
They next play Argentinean Juan Ignacio Chela and Brazilian Bruno Soares.
