Mahindra & Mahindra's Genio pickup truck gets launched in India. This is a 1.2 ton fresh pickup truck. This Genio pickup truck will run on a 2.5 litre CRDe diesel engine and has 75 bhp of power & 220 Nm of torque. This car will come with a redesigned front end & front sports headlamps. It even boasts of having good fog lamps in the bumper and a redesigned grille.
As far as the price, this vehicle will be available for 4.99 lakh rupees. It can be bought from 70 dealerships across the country.
Genio vehicle might not offer that great comforts, it offers huge benefits to owners of small & medium businesses looking for a vehicle. An added advantage is that this vehicle gives comfortable pick up. Most interestingly, you will have to change oils only after 20,000 km of travel, reducing maintenance costs.
This truck comes with a load-sensing pressure valve on the brakes, adjusting braking force depending on the load. Fascinatingly, this vehicle comes with tubeless radial tyres (a first in this segment).
The Mahindra Genio utility vehicle is available in 4 colour options –Diamond White, Metallic Silver Shine, Marvel Granite and Skyline Blue. And clearly this vehicle will come in as a major challenger to Bolero Camper and Maxx Pik-Up.
