Here the Guidelines for a Healthy Lifestyle

- Take small frequent meals instead of three heavy meals

- Bake, roast, boil or steam instead of frying food

- Avoid pickle, papads, mixture and savory food

- Dietary fiber is important as it helps to lower lipid levels.

- Whole grain cereals, pulses, vegetables, fruits are rich in dietary fiber.

- Preferably use skimmed milk for tea / coffee and curd

- Ideally a brisk walk for 45 minutes in the morning and 15 minute walk after dinner are extremely beneficial in weight loss as well as improving the HDL (High Density Lipoprotein) levels.
