In the two-wheeler segment, the sales jumped by 41 per cent to 1,68,359 units in December 2010 from 1,19,701 units in the same period of the previous year, the company said in a statement here.
The company witnessed 94 per cent growth in scooter sales at 41,804 units (21,566). Sales of motorcycle grew by 24 per cent to 61,414 units (49,560).
Besides, the total sales between April and December, 2010 stood at 15,12,896 units.
In the three-wheeler segment, the company registered 219 per cent growth in its cumulative sales from April-December.
"The cumulative three-wheeler sales for the period April 2010 to December 2010 stood at 27,794 units against 8,707 units registering a growth of 219 per cent", the statement said.
The total two-wheeler sales during April-December grew by 34 per cent to 14,85,102 from 11,09,054 units.
The company's domestic sales also grew by 46 per cent to 1,49,357 units in December 2010 from 1,02,479 units in December 2009.
On the exports front, the company sold 19,002 units of two-wheelers last month against 17,222 units in December 2009, the release added.
