Paul di Resta is making his Formula One debut this year with this team. He will have to partner with German Adrian Sutil from now on, and Nico Hulkenberg has taken as the reserve driver this time for Force India team.
While Force India is somewhat rather happy at the moment about their formula one racing, their chairman and team principal Vijay Mallya said that he wants to see improved performance from his team this year.
However, he said, "Adrian has matured into one of F1's most consistent and highly-rated young drivers, while Paul is, I believe, a real star of the future."
Mallya further talked that, "He has won in every category in his career, and this base speed was in evidence when he got in the car on Fridays last year. With Nico, signing him was too good an opportunity to let by."
